The Bauer Vapor 3X INT Goalie Stick brings many high-end technologies to a second price point stick. The Vapor 3X goal stick combines new technology and design to create a high-performing stick in a lightweight construction.
Shaft Construction
The Shaft of the 3X features a carbon construction that is lightweight and strong, while improving the overall balance of the stick. The 3X also features a shorter shaft that allows for easy and seamless puck handling.
Paddle Construction
The paddle is constructed of a carbon wrap, with ExpandCel technology which is used to create a more durable and lightweight stick. While it doesn’t have the same Ergo technology as the Supreme line, the paddle also features a concave design to help control rebounds.
Blade Construction/Stiffness
Just like the paddle, the blade also uses an ExpandCel construction with a carbon wrap. One of the new features we haven’t seen from Bauer before is a rounded toe on their P31 curve.
Graphics
The 3X features all-new graphics that allows the carbon colour to be the main colour of the stick. These new graphics have a modern look, while saving weight of a fully painted stick. The 3X is available in silver/black, along with red, blue, and black variations.
Grip
The handle of the 3X is coated in a tacky-grip texture, a popular grip that has been on past Bauer sticks. This grip material gives goalies excellent grip and control, even with wet gloves.
Blade Patterns, Paddle Lengths, Stick Lengths, Weight, Level of Play
The 3X is offered in 3 intermediate sizes of 23″ and 24”. The popular P31 will be the only curve offered; upgraded with a round toe this year. Increasing in popularity, a round toe is more conducive to puck handling.
